YC Lee, Ph.D. (李耀忠)
Chief Executive Officer,

Dr. YC Lee began his career at Eli Lilly in 1990 where, over 12-years, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in product development, leading him to a senior managerial position as the Manager of Analytical Development. In 2002, YC Lee joined the contract research organization, Patheon, as the Director of Analytical Development. His laboratories were responsible for the development of more than 40 new chemical entities (NCE) for global regulatory submissions. In 2005, YC Lee co-founded a Toronto-based consulting company, PharmLink Inc., to provide top notch R&D services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. YC grew PharmLink into a company of 20 scientists in less than one year. YC Lee then joined PharmEng as a Senior Director in 2006 when PharmLink was acquired by PharmEng, and was responsible for building PharmEng’s global pharmaceutical development business. Dr Lee founded XPhase Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Canada and becomes the Chief Executive Officer in 2007. He is currently leading the company to establish a world-class drug development pipeline for global pharmaceutical markets.

Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Hong Kong. He has authored more than 12 technical publications and presentations and holds one patent.

Dr. YC Lee has more than 20 years of pharmaceutical development experience in regulatory, research and development, validation, quality control and quality assurance. He is an editor of the book “Analytical Method Validation and Instrument Performance Verification” published by Wiley. Dr. Lee is also a founder of the Calibration & Validation Group (CVG). CVG is a non-profit organization formed by more than 1,500 analytical and formulation scientists from the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, academia and government agencies across Canada.

Joel

Mr. Joel Cheng (郑弟龙)
Executive Vice President,

Joel is one of the co-founder of XPhase Pharmaceutical Inc. He was the Senior Director of PharmEng International and Managing Director of PharmEng Innovations from April 2006. He was from MDS SCIEX, where he has served as the Director of Sales for New Products. Joel was chiefly responsible for MDS SCIEX’ $280 million in annual sales revenue. Joel’ 26-year career began in 1980 with Hewlett Packard/Agilent Technologies, where he maintained leadership positions in strategic, operational and corporate management capacities across North America. Joel has since maintained positions of increasing responsibility including Major Account Representative, Western Canada Business Team Manager and Worldwide Channel Manager. A native of Hong Kong, China, Joel graduated from Waterloo University with a Bachelor's Co-op degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry.

Gabriel

Mr. Gabriel Lam(林根)
Executive Vice President,

Gabriel is one of the co-founder of XPhase Pharmaceutical Inc. He was the Senior Director of PharmEng Innovations since July 2006, Gabriel was the President of the Toronto-based Rootlink Technic Inc. In this role Gabriel was responsible for the creation and oversight of a broad service program which incorporated best practices in education, policy, validation and compliance monitoring. From 1984 to 2001, Gabriel held a variety of senior management roles at Hewlett Packard/Agilent Technologies, including a Sales Engineer in Shanghai, China and Product Specialist for Agilent Canada. Gabriel received his higher diploma in Electronic Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and currently serves as the Education Director of the Calibration and Validation Group (CVG).

Bev

Bev Incledon, Ph. D.
Vice President,

Dr. Incledon has over 14 years of pharmaceutical industry experience encompassing drug discovery, product development, pre-approval inspections, development quality, project management, method/technology transfer, process improvement, manufacturing troubleshooting, new development facility start up, and research on novel drug delivery technology. Dr. Incledon is a strategic, deliberative scientist with an extensive range of diverse knowledge in research, development and parenteral manufacturing operations.

Dr. Incledon has recently joined XPhase Pharmaceuticals Inc. as Vice President, Research and Development where he is responsible for leading all research and development projects and evaluating related business development opportunities. Dr. Incledon has also been Director of Lilly Analytical Research Laboratory – Lilly Laboratory for Bioanalytical Research, Eli Lilly Canada Inc. since April 2006. Prior to his promotion as Director, Dr. Incledon was Group Leader and Principal Research Scientist of Eli Lilly Canada Inc. from April 2000 to April 2006. Dr. Incledon was Team Leader in the Analytical Development Department of Glaxo Wellcome Inc. (Canada) from August 1998 to April 2000. Dr. Incledon was Biochemist in the Drug Discovery Group of Syntex Inc. from May 1991 to July 1993. Dr. Incledon was Protein Chemist in Immunochemistry, the National Reference Lab of the Canadian Red Cross Society from May 1990 to May 1991.

Dr. Incledon received his Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Applied Biochemistry with a Minor in Biomedical Technology and Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Guelph. He was Post Doctoral Fellow at Cornell University.

Gabriel

Mr. Raymond Cai (蔡玢)
General Manager, China Operation,

Raymond Cai graduated from Sun Yet sant University with a Bachelor degree in Chemistry. Since 1992, Raymond has engaged in health care industry and relative trading business. He has rich experiences in sales and management. Raymond found Kandahua, Xindahua, Ruikai medical equipment companies in mainland China, and these companies became the agent of well-known international medical product brand, such as Kodak medical image products, BD Bioscience, Metronic Cardiac Catheterization products, Japan JMS Dialysis Products, America Hemonetic Blood Reclaim Products etc. Total sales revenue was over $60 million. Raymond is familiar with medical market in China and having a good and extensive social connections in Medical area.
